"Pots and Pans"
Kottayam, Kerala, India

Walking off the beaten path in the back waters of Kerala I espied this collection of pots outside of a building in a small village. It reminded me of an open-air kitchen, complete with a broom. Later during this trip I saw many brightly colored plastic utensils for sale throughout South India. I concluded that these wonderfully textured metal implements will soon become a thing of the past.
